Federal Tax Credit Overview
Under the Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit, homeowners can claim a tax credit for a portion of the cost of qualifying energy-efficient windows and doors installed in their primary residence.
- Up to 30% of the cost of eligible exterior windows and skylights (maximum $600).
- Up to 30% of the cost of eligible exterior doors (maximum $250 per door, up to $500 total).
- Products must meet energy efficiency certification requirements (Energy Star).
- If required for your tax filing, our manufacturer's Qualified Manufacturer Identification Number (QMID) is S9A4.
- Some energy companies also offer rebates—please check with your local provider to see if your new windows qualify today!
